I meant sent you a reburb one while you're waiting on yours being fixed ;)
I'd love to get one with an HDMI port. I need to free up one of my
component inputs on my TV.
I take good care of my Xbox, on the weekends when I vacuum I always
run the hose over all the vents to make sure there's no dust build up.
But you're right on Thursday's the 360 usually gets used almost all
day but so? I mean that's what it's for right? To play games on? I see
what you're saying but if MS tried to use that excuse, I'd get irate!
"Please only play your 360s for 2 hours at a time, then give them at
least an hour to cool off".. Hell no.
I just picked up Lost Odessy and it's a fun game, especially if you
love the old school turn based RPGs. It's got beautiful graphics and a
pretty good story line also.
Anyways, one of my friends comes over on Thursdays and plays the hell
out it. I knew the RRoD was coming, as almost everytime he'd turn it
off it'd go to the 3 rings (when it started to recognize the
controllers to charge them). But I'd turn it back on then immediately
off and that fixed it.
Next time he'd play it for an extended period, same thing.. I was
playing it on the weekend (Turok - it's okay at $30, but don't pay any
more for it) anyways, I'd play it for 2-4 hours at a time and not see
the RRoD when I turned it off.. So I thought it was just him.
Until last Friday when I was playing Prey again.. I went to turn it
off after maybe 2 hours of play time and I saw the 3 rings.. I
thought, great.. and I turned it off and back on (thinking it'd fix
itself) but not this time.. still 3 rings. I let it set for a little
bit and tried again.. still 3 rings. That's when I called and posted.
Anyways I'm thinking about buying one of those fans for the back..
Heard anything regarding them?
