I took her out to dinner and I had already purchased a ring. It was a 1.0k diamond w/three stones around it. She has had 3 kids one died and I had each one of their birthstones around the diamond to try and signify I take her and her children. Their farther died about 13yrs ago. I had the waiter put the ring on a piece of cake and he served it to her for dessert and when she saw it I got down on one knee and asked her she cried (especially the way I had the ring done) then she said YES and we went home and consummated.
