Get over the is-or-isn't-it thinking already! I can't believe how
many smart people waste time debating something that isn't in
question.

I want you to read the following very carefully:

We don't know if there is global warming *because* we don't understand
nor have the ability to control climate.

Where was the protest from you when the surfer dude put forward E8 as
a unification theory? It's the same principle: making guesses at
stuff we don't understand.

And just as with E8, the proposed framework deserves resources to
explore because the benefits are enormous.

But unlike E8, being wrong could possibly mean the destruction of the
human race.

Put it all together now:

1.) We won't understand Earth's climatic systems for decades or centuries.

2.) There are signs that point to some type of change from norm; i.e.,
'special cause' variation.

3.) The money we're investing to further understand and prioritize a
risk to the human race is effectively zero.

That's stupid. But you wouldn't know because you're busy worrying
about something we DO know: we don't understand Earth's climate.

Dude. Move on already.
