Isn't that a headline you've linked us to? ;^P But I know what you mean... Most media studies show that while violence has been decreasing for decades the reporting of violence has skyrocketed. The news media doesn't spend time on stories about foiled violence... all that would do is, you know, INFORM us. It wouldn't increase rating or anything. For what it's worth this did get quite a bit of play however... Google his name and you'll stories from lots of news outlets across the country (of course this IS a wire article) and some foreign (BBC, CTV, etc). But this kind of news (that without dramatic video) is often left to newspapers. Had he actually shot somebody then we'd see it on TV... and Fox News could troy out Jack Thompson to tell us it was all because of video games.
