not really special per say.....it's a Nikon D80 mated with an 8mm fisheye lens. The scene there is the 4 pictures taken at 90 degree rotation. Normally, there would be two other exposures merged with this one to give a better dynamic range.
Here's a sample image taken with the camera/lens combo. These photos are run through a program that "dewarps" them and then stitches them together to create a 360 image. http://www.mcmoyer.com/test/DSC_1538-0.jpg On Apr 15, 2008, at 1:19 PM, Vivec wrote: > When you click to rotate the panoramic view etc yes, Firefox jumps as > high as 94% . > > This is Flash Video, the same would happen if you were to view more > than one YouTube FLV file etc. Flash hogs processor time, but it is > much less noticeable on a multi-core machine. > > How are these created btw? > A special camera? > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;192386516;25150098;k Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:258536 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
