I hacked up the calendar a ways back, to use a CF back end.
Pretty slick stuff. Deploys to stand-alone swfs and whatnot (with the
tie-in to dojo, and the data store stuff, I wouldn't doubt AIR like
whatnots too, soon-- see how it all convrges?).
