It's a documentary series. It usually covers a specific topic and includes
interviews with a number of astronomers and scientists around the world (but
mainly in the US) to tell the story of whatever the topic is.

Three of the most recent episodes were about, the largest objects in the
Universe, nebulas, and colonizing space. Alot of season one episodes
centered around specific objects in our solar system - Earth's moon, saturn,
the sun, etc.... This season (the second one) is about alot more distant
objects and other conceptual things like the colonizing of space.

It also has some space great eye candy. Obviously they can't drop cameras
right next to some of this stuff, so sometimes they use images from high res
telescopes, and sometimes they use very good 3D animations of different
things.
