>Why use bluedragon instead of just buy coldfusion? Money the issue? >
Definitely for a non profit, the cost of 6 licenses for BlueDragon for J2EE plus a two year support contract worked about to be less than a quarter of the cost of CFMX 8 Enterprise without the support contract. And unless you really need to use some of the CF8 specific stuff, BDJ2EE works just as well. So the cost is a major factor. Once the open source version is available I expect that that's going to be more of a concern. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;192386516;25150098;k Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:258988 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
