I guess one reason I like the Matrix a lot is at least the hot chick gets to 
kick some serious ass as well. ;-) Definitely not enough "geek fantasy" movies 
though that feature a truly central female figure. 

As a long time LOTR fan (I've read the books at least a dozen times) that has 
to be top of my list as well.
