Before the poisoning that took five of our cats many years ago, we had a beautiful cat named Ruby Dee who was the sweetest little thing until there were birds in view. Then she became She-Ra, Huntress Cat of the Savannah. She'd go up a tree and come down with two baby birds in her mouth. She'd blast forward from a thicket and then leap and bat one out of the air, hooking it with her claws. When she'd catch a flier she'd break its neck and leave it at the front door as a gift. I love me some kitties!
