Well then if they are willing to provide someone to bug test, and they don't want to add any features while your at it, I'd say it may be doable. I'd stock up on the caffeine though, I'm thinking you are going to need it :) 3-4 months just cranking code with nobody looking over my shoulder, and all requirements already set in stone would be pretty darn cool imho.
Anyway, if the project completion gets delayed, what are they going to do? Fire you?
