Everything went by so fast during the movie that I'm not sure about this
next observation, so I'm calling upon other gun-knowledgeable folks in this
list who are going to go see the movie to be on the lookout for something
and let me know if I'm wrong.

There were a couple of points in the film where the submachine guns appeared
to have their ejection ports on the left sides of the gun, rather than the
right side where they actually are. Pay particular attention to the M3
Grease Gun.

My theory is that the 3D Integration crew saw a highlight conflict between
the animated environment and the live action photography, and decided it
would work better with the highlights on the opposite sides of the line of
sight. Since re-lighting, re-testing, and re-rendering the animated
environment would have taken a really long time, they just digitally
reversed the live action footage in certain places to make it match better.
Not even throughout the entire scene, but just in certain places.

So watch for the scene out in the open with the automatic weapons and let me
know if you see the same thing.

(These aren't spoilers, since snippets of this are shown in the original
trailer)

Respectfully,
