Unlike speed racer the movie which seems to be not targeted at kids at all but a wider audience. I thought the Scooby Doo movies were reasonably well done and not all that far from the original cartoons. And since we all hated Scrappy Doo, even when we watched the show, it doesn't bother me at all that they made fun of him.
