I have a friend that is very inexperienced with computers but would like to get a laptop. He wants to spend $400. I know nothing about laptops(I prefer the power of a desktop). I would like to order online. Could anyone recommend a good beginners laptop for this price range? It will be used for web and word processing, so it doesn't need the muscle to play games. A larger screen would be better, but I understand we may be limited in this price range. A burner would be nice, but is not a requirement. I would also like it to be able to play dvds out of the box. Built in wifi access would be nice as well.
