The authentication problem is the biggest pain in the ass right now. On the file server there is a public and private folders. On the private folder, only the accountant and myself have access. For some reason permissions on this folder are currently getting messed up. I'm setup as a domain admin and for whatever reason, I get blocked from viewing files in the folder. The same thing happens to the accountant. Frequently she'll go to access a file and can't. The only thing I can do to fix it is to reset the permissions for the entire folder.
Does that make any sense? Any ideas? Most of the lists I am on are pretty vendor specific (Cisco, Juniper, F5). I believe that Microsoft has some lists, http://www.microsoft.com/communities/default.mspx but I am not on them and so can't speak tot heir quality You can try me with the question though; I've been doing some active directory stuff lately, especially integration. Come Tuesday I can probably also ask a question around at work if I need to. On Sun, May 25, 2008 at 6:43 PM, Duane <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Mostly windows server stuff.
