Yes. Which reminds me: I have this laser pointer I've been playing with at night. Goes impressively far, ya know? And it's blinding! So bright... anyways, I was sitting there, zapping various things with my laser, thinking, "wow, look how far it goes" and started thinking about those pictures they do on the moon with lasers. Then, I saw this star, right? At least I think it was a star. And I zapped it. And I thought. And I laughed. In 4-6 hundred years, some fool might look up at the stars, all "wow, what a clear night.." and ZZZAP! Right in the eye! <weird voice> from the paaaassst</weird voice>. That thought was followed by the thought of how funny it would be, for this stream of photons, after traveling for centuries, to be just about to hit that planet with the dude looking up, and have a wimpy little comet or asteroid or something block it. So close! Heh. Yeah, very "only to be eaten by a small dog" type of deal, but that dude knows life, neh? Yay, Adams! He speaks truth. Miss 'm. Anyways, we're still waiting for your acquiescence.
