As with Bush, the past is the best predictor of the future - Bush was
a former business failure, bought that skill set to the Whitehouse,
and turned the US into a failure.

So, based on that analysis methodology, what can we predict about Obama?

The preliminary facts are thus:

(1.) Obama has been able to create a national "movement", for better
or worse. Granted this is due to, a large extent, Bush; his massive
failures have united the country. Against him.

(2.) Obama was able to graduate at the top of his class from a "T3"
law school. That is, he competed with and became a leader of leaders
(he was not a legacy from a wealthy family as with Bush). Further,
he's a law professor at at "T6" law school; i.e., he's now an
instructor of future leaders.

(3.) Obama is a successful community organizer who's served in
leadership positions via his role on multiple boards of directors.
That is, he's been a leader at changing lives on the local level. And
succeeded.

(4.) Obama, as a presidential candidate, outsmarted one of the
strongest nominee candidates in history; and did so despite his "funny
name", the fact that he's black, and his relative lack of national
campaign experience.

(5.) Obama is known to his friends and associates as a thoughtful,
generous, reasoned thinker who asks "no-men" as well as those who
share his instincts before he acts.

Conclusion
--------------------
Those qualities, as well as his lack of political experience and the
fact that he's not a baby-boomer, make him the only choice in this
race for me. His track record of past success predicts future
success.

I like McCain, and would've voted for him in previous elections, but
not this one. He's the status quo candidate.

For Obama, odds are if elected, it'll be very difficult for him to
change the country or the world. But he's got the best chance if only
because he wants to, but also because he has a track record of doing
so locally.

So let's see what he can do nationally.
