SQL Server 2005 comes with a different GUI than 2000 (2005's sucks and
is missing functionality), but all versions of SQL Server some with
some free tools to manage the DB. I thikn you can still download a
free 90 or 180 day trial of SQL Server from Microsoft's site and plonk
it right on your desktop if you wanna play with it some. The client
tools can be installed seperately fromt he Server itself, but you
really have to be paying attention during instal or you can click next
next next and wonder why the right thing didn't install.
