Found a house we like. Put an offer in on it. They accepted the offer for pretty much what we wanted to pay. Did the inspection yesterday, the house looks great. We got the close date pushed out 2 months to give us a chance to sell our house. Got our house all cleaned up, looking great.
Two days ago, I notice water seeping up at the junction of the wall and the floor in the basement when we run the kitchen sink. Plumber comes out and snakes it, says the pipe is rotted out underneath the finished basement floor. Will have to jackhammer it up, possibly the entire run of the pipe, some 20 feet, and replace. Are you phucking kidding me?
