I'm right there with you. This ep was supposedly good enough for RDMoore to end the series off, if they didn't manage to come back after the writers' strike. Arrrrrgggghhhhhh Hmm, what I took from Razor, where Bill finds the lab, was that they were creating the hybrids that are in the base ships, not the actual skin jobs. Though it's likely the BS hybrids were a "stage 1" development for the skin jobs, it's become clear that the final five models of cylon have different origins than the first 7 we were introduced to--my running theory is, they were created first, possibly on Earth by the 13th tribe, and escaped at the time of the holocaust the fleet just discovered on Earth. > Also wtf was with Earth? The rest of the season is in post-production, having only started filming again at the end of the strike, so there's some cause for a delay, but scifi won't put it on the schedule yet...leaving us to speculate on when it'll be back. My best guess is January, just like this season was -scheduled- to return.
