Suffering from a lack of a sense of humor tony? You don't honestly believe that is the reason do you? If so, then I guess that makes the house and senate equally emotional since they approved the initial invasion. Amazing how you can get the majority of liberals and conservatives to invade a country because someone tried to kill a former president. Oh wait, that's right. There were other reasons. And I am not talking about supposed WMD's. I recently saw a documentary on the Discovery Channel that showed in very graphic detail of the brutal ways that Saddam kept his people in check. Even after experiencing the things I have the last two times I have been to Iraq, I was very disturbed by what I saw. To me that is reason enough to get rid of him. That and the numerous declarations of war that he committed against use between Desert Storm and OIF.
