This is an interesting question. I've got some older friends with a 26 year old who's just married and they're immediately looking to start a family. They're both employed college grads, but the guy works for NWA which is merging with Delta and she works as a admin for a college. They're both VERY young in their careers and they're carrying about $50k of debt and don't own a home (no savings, either). IMO, they are not financially ready. career young, have debt, in recession: if only 2, then go for it, but with all 3 get worried. That having been said, many people I know have the you-just-do-it-and-hope-it-works-out-worked-for-us mentality which, is sorta true I guess. Not for me, but I can see how others would be comfortable with it. For me, I need work to be an option not a requirement when I have kids. and it sure ain't that way now. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;203748912;27390454;j Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:264065 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
