If you've got eclipse, hell, there's some kick-ass compare stuff built right in!

You can install the Remote System Explorer and get access to FTP/SFTP, etc..

Plus, it will keep a record of what you changed locally, that you can
see at a glance.

I loves it, but I use it for source code mostly, dunno if you're like,
cleaning up your music library or somesuch, where Beyond Compare or
something similar would probably work better.

Or if you're running *nix, you could use a simple script or two...
heh.  Gotta love Real OSes!  ;p)
