Not really.

What does worry me is a man who's asking to be executive administrator of
our nation that has clearly not mastered the administration skills of the
lowest level steno pool member.

Yes, he will have people to do things for him: but aides that do those
aspects of your job that you lack the time to do are one thing. We're
talking about aides that perform aspects of his job (I would argue requisite
aspects) because he is unqualified or unwilling to do so.

Would you hire somebody like that to run your office? How 'bout your
country?

If he's unable to learn these basic job skills how will he enter other, more
complex domains? We're only beginning to see the damage that a scientific
and technically illiterate administration can cause... how much moreso with
4 or 8 more years?

If he's unwilling to learn then that's even worse: it shows a commitment to
ignorance that's frightening in anybody but terrifying in a chief executive.

I like to think that the president should be at least as willing to accept
technology as my mother. Can she send email, watch "YouTube" and play
"Peggle"? Yes. Does she know not to open unknown emails, ignore pop-ups
and always look for the lock before entering personal information? Yes.
Can she set up her router? No. Can she install a new printer? Not really.

Are we looking at a security breach at the White House because when he
finally does sit down at the computer he decides he just has to see those
naked pictures of Angelina Jolie the nice stranger sent him through email?

[I was actually going to ignore this thread... guess that plan's in the
toilet.]
