See the reason Bush doesn't want anybody to see that is because he's spent his entire life railing against banking regulation, arguing that Wall Street knows best. Now all of a sudden he's saying they don't. He essentially just turned his back on 30 years of republican theory AND blamed the failure on Wall Street saying they neglected to regulate themselves. So he basically kicked the rich and most of the republicans in the nuts. But, yeah, I don't think that would bother most Americans. Just the rich ones.
