It's very much relevant - comrade. Which is what you'd be calling me if the US hadn't installed those dictators. We wouldn't be on the internet and you'd probably be dead or living in a slum. I'd for sure be dead. I'm all Red Dawn so ... Anyway, the point is, the US also SOLVED a HUGE problem for the rest of the world. To see the extent of what that problem would've been, read about Stalin and how he treated his countrymen. Think of what he would've done to you. Or your sister, or mother. Stalin wasn't exactly winding down his ways on VE day. So, yeah, the fight against communism was not perfect, and not pretty, but we won. Or maybe let's say America didn't care about Hawaii and let Japan invade the Caribbean. Here's what you'd of had to look forward then: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nanking_Massacre You perfectly correct that sometimes things get messy as with Vietnam, and plain stupid as with Iraq. But, on the whole, I'm guessing the amount of death this world would've suffered if the US hadn't acted would be orders of magnitude worse. I think it's ok to ask the hand that feeds you to wash up - but you shouldn't bite it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;203748912;27390454;j Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:264725 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
