Hey, if it takes a major economic incentive for people to change their
behavior, then so be it. We became a car culture because it was cheap
and easy to do it. I was bummed out because I ended up driving to the
grocery store this weekend. I COULD have biked, if I'd planned better
(well, and not blown out the tire on my bike). I managed to do all my
Saturday errands without ever getting in the car.
