I'm going to rewire my den surround system to pipe music to the den, dining room and kitchen. I don't want to hang the satellites as I want something with a little more oomph (the satellites are 4 in woofers) and I want something less conspicuous. So ceiling speakers it is.....but the next criteria is I don't want to spend a buttload on speakers...I'd like to keep the cost down below $100 per speaker. So far, I've found some 8" JBL's on Amazon and locally, Circuit City has some Phoenix Gold (never heard of this brand, but they seem to get decent reviews) 8" in that price range.....Anyone have any info to add?
