Fair enough, they were paid to play. But don't I discount their gratitude toward the West and America in particular for freeing them from Soviet tyranny. Where is there anything like this kind of justification for Russia to invade Georgia? Where? Block attacks in South Ossetia? Sure. But stage a ground invasion, blow up the port, sink naval vessels, occupy the central town of Gori, threaten to topple the government? Where? Apparently the Russians have now destroyed a key rail bridge west of Tblisi.
