Just thought I'd share a bit of digging I finally got around to. Was having huge issues with CPU spikes and memory hogging with the NTJavaConsole service on my Win2K machine ... and I'm not runing a copy of JRun. I knew I'd seen the problem addressed before, but couldn't remember how to stop it, so I dug up a URL to the fix, and just in case anyone else is also having issues with this, here you go: http://www.macromedia.com/v1/handlers/index.cfm?ID=21807&Method=Full&fb=yes& CFID=2712055&CFTOKEN=51097050
I did not install the patch, I chose to manually remove the .store's and the log file, and now my computer is in Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy mode again. :) Cheers, Erika (with a *K*) "Life... is like a grapefruit.
