I've always gotten the impression that Powell won't run because of what 
was done to him by Bush and the GOP.
You can't expect a man who did what his President asked of him and then 
was made a scapegoat for it, to be willing to run for the same office 
that screwed him.


I've said it before if Powell ran I'd vote for him, but he won't and I 
can't say that I blame him..

Although I'd be really curious to know who he's supporting.
