It's not about the families. It's about the judgment of McCain in choosing this woman as his running mate - a woman who apparently cannot even control her own daughter. That and the fact that the religious right is so sanctimonious about telling the rest of us how to live our lives.
Palin had no trouble preaching the 'teach abstinence instead of sex education" platform, but when it's her daughter, it's a private family thing and we're not allowed to discuss it.
