Belonging to a group vs. advocating. Obama belonged to a church that was
lead by a hate monger. Did Obama advocate hate? The article, which has
already been discredited, said she was part of the organization, not that
she advocated the position. If you think its splitting hairs and are
appalled at her behavior, you MUST apply the same logic to Obama or any
other candidate or person for that matter.
But as it turns out, it's more media hi-jinks and jumping without thought or
research. A good editor should have stopped the article to get some proof,
but I can count the number of good editors I know on one hand...and you know
who you are. :)
