just be leary of which engine you get in your next tractor. I had to replace the B&S motor on my tractor after only 3 years of service. I talked with 4 small engine shops and they all told me that it was a bad air filter design by B&S and that they had a new design that was much better. They all told me that unless you were going with a japanese motor, B&S was just as good as the others.
On my last trip up to home depot, for grins, I checked out what engines they had. A little more than 50% had the bad filter design....including the John Deere's. On Sep 17, 2008, at 4:00 PM, Erika L.
