I cant recall off top of head - but didnt 9/11 happen during a mayoral election year? Meaning - Giuliani remained mayor because it was deemed a crisis, etc etc. Cant remember the exact wording of the process that was used to keep him in office well after he should of left.
Isn't this banking crisis almost akin to a huge disaster? (not making light of 9/11 now peeps or saying it's comparable, just kinda hear me out) Meaning that it would put the US in such utter turmoil and panic - that perhaps Bush should stay in until it's sorted out? I mean .. ya know - fix the problem before he turns it over to someone else. /me cringes from the perceived aftermath ....
