Today is the festival of Eid Ul Fitr, Muslim celebration of the breaking of the fasting of Ramadan. We have a public holiday in Trinidad to celebrate, and many will be visiting muslim friends later for kurma and those little sweet things and Sawine...with almonds...and cherries...and raisins and and mmm! :-)
