:) The chemicals that I feel are harmful and exist in products would be created by the US and European countries.
There have been several products which have not had the proper tests and enquiries into their fitness for use. Only recently I believe a very common chemical found in plastic bottles was found to potentially be a carcinogen and would leech into the water in the bottles. More tests are apparently needed to confirm this. The FDA said that yes, it leeched, but it was in such small amounts that it couldn't possibly be harmful. Initially, there was never any statement made that these chemicals leeched at all, they weren't supposed to.
