Here's the interesting lesson with my point: my wife goes to NU law
school and Ayers' wife is prof of clinical law there.

Dohrn has a JD from U of Chicago (a top 5 law school) and worked for a
top chicago law firm for years.  She was recommended to NU by the head
of the firm and is a distinguished prof.

If, last Friday, I'd have been invited to her home for some function,
I'd have gone without question.  Why wouldn't I?

And if nobody told me about her background from 40 years ago I would
likely have no clue and could have easily had a relationship with her
for years.

So hopefully I just answered all of your reasonable questions.
