Honestly I think that one of CF's problems has been its lack of consistent brand identity. Each version gets a new look/logo making none of them memorable. Switching companies, brands, etc - makes the product look unreliable. Personally I liked the original "Lightning Bolt in the Fist" logo from the CF 2/3 days. Maybe I'm wrong tho'... no other Web Application language really has a strong brand identity either I suppose (although Jeeves mightcount for Java... but he's a general mascot). Still... I think they should pick a logo/theme/whatever and stick with it.
