I just assumed that it was a verbal slip on McCain's part. Its hard to
imagine being a candidate for President and having every single word
you say recorded and analyzed with all the speaking you have to do.
Everyone is going to have some weird slip ups (like Obama's 51 states.
That was hilarious.)

I read today that McCain had a weird slip up in a speech and referred
to "my fellow prisoners" instead of "my fellow Americans". Given the
campaign that is running, I don't blame him for feeling like he's back
in Vietnam :)
