so did I.. it's called Elementary school history. and again in middle school
US History and again in High school US History... and we have a Columbus day
for someone who really didn't "discover" America... Maybe we ought to have a
Viking day or something.. or just a day to recognize the Icelanders,
Portuguese, Spanish, French, Dutch and English who all claim "discovery" in
their own ways..
