Oh, I got all that. Will's joke was LOL funny. :-P I just don't think your joke is very funny, due to the scary nature of the reality we are currently subscribed too.
Do you honestly still believe that only a select few people were listened-in on? * * * I'm telling you Rob, this stuff ain't funny (unless you're joking about how un-funny it is, as Will was, of course). The Ayers crap, this stuff... I think maybe you believe that it's "just politics", but I see Very Bad Happenings. You and Loathe, etc. fear Socialism, and a Liberal future, but I've just got to point out, that the truly scary shit has already been going down. Up next would be a witch-hunt for "terrorists"... The government's blatant abuse of power, and the silly notion that we should be unable to investigate it, are truly evil. It's up to us, dude. No president can save us from ourselves, nor should they be responsible for doing so. You and me, saying "stop the madness" is our best bet-- neither candidate even has this crap on their radar, from what I've seen. And it's not about "politics", ya know? This is about the slide into what others can see as... well, something not good. Remember watching Chaves? And it's about the ease of access to consolidated data-- which will only get easier and more consolidated. Privacy is a *huge* concern we haven't even /begun/ to traverse. Eh. Maybe I'm just stoned. Er, I mean paranoid. Cuz only a paranoid wouldn't trust the government, and thus, anyone who doesn't trust the government must be nutty. Makes perfect sense to me, from a certain perspective. A certain "I wish I wasn't sober" perspective. -- For purposes of action nothing is more useful than narrowness of thought combined with energy of will.
