Ben, I never said that I though that suicide bombing was acceptable, in fact in several of my posts I said that I thought it was cowardly and wrong. I support Israel for going in and cleaning out the groups. I just don't support all the foreign aid the US gives to Israel.

Oh boy, here comes another long controversial thread degenerating into a flame war (or not...) Kevin, I totally disagree with what, in my opinion, is a strongly biased comment you made - > They hate us because our hi-tech weaponry is being used by Israeli > soldiers to kill Palestinian men, women, and children. The Arab world has hated us long before the Palestinian Authority, long before the latest 18-month Intifada, long before Israeli military incursions into the West Bank. And we're not talking about "subtle Saudi presence" and Bin Laden taking offense - the entire Muslim world, who see the U.S. as "infidels" (non-Muslim) and have hated that for over 50 years we support the existence of the State of Israel, which nation they want to push into the sea. You seem to forget that Israel has a stated policy of retaliating for terrorist attacks against civilians. And you don't seem to criticize somebody walking into a hotel or restaurant with pounds of explosive strapped to their body, and murder people. How about a little fairness? I don't like the Israeli military operations against the Palestinians, not one bit. However, Hamas and Islamic Jihad were recently quoted as saying even if Arafat and the PA declared a cease-fire, they would *not* honor it, and would continue the bombings. So, for an effective peace with a legitimate Palestinian "government" to occur, the illegitimate terrorist organizations must be stopped. -Ben > -----Original Message----- > From: Kevin Schmidt [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Monday, April 08, 2002 8:20 AM > To: CF-Community > Subject: RE: Bush's Mid East Policy > > > So Howard tell me where this statement is wrong: > > The Arab world doesn't hate us because of > Hollywood.
