You would deny it, of course. But now we know that Obama not only began his political career in William Ayers' living room, he joined Ayers in directing millions of dollars meant to improve the quality of education in Chicago to groups with radical anti-American agendas and little educational experience. >From the article:
---- As if the content of SSAVC documents wasn't warning enough, their proposals consistently misspelled "rites of passage" as "rights of passage," hardly an encouraging sign from a group meant to improve children's reading skills. The Chicago Annenberg Challenge's own evaluators acknowledged that Annenberg-aided schools showed no improvement in achievement scores. Evaluators attributed that failure, in part, to the fact that many of Annenberg's "external partners" had little educational expertise. A group that puts its efforts into Kwanzaa celebrations and half-baked history certainly fits that bill, and goes a long way toward explaining how Ayers and Obama managed to waste upwards of $150 million without improving student achievement. ---- So what you have here is a case of William Ayers and Barack Obama working together over a number of years to direct charitable funding not toward traditional educational achievement but toward a program of anti-American indoctrination in Chicago. I am all for bold educational experiements in failing schools, but if you are going to be bold, you had better be successful. Obama was, according to the Annenberg Challenge's evaluators, a failure. And let's not confuse the issue. This has nothing to do with Bill Ayers' past and everything to do with his mission at the time that Barack Obama worked with him in Chicago's Annenberg Challenge- one of the few bits of Obama's record that we can actually examine.
