They should be launched soon. Joint effort between the US and a few allies, I think Britain is one of them. There are about three variants, I think this variant with Vertical Takeoff and Landing is for the Military/Marines. The planes are meant to completely replace the F18, F14, F15 et al. I think the F22 replaced the F15 actually, and that is currently in service. But this...wow. You just..fly and STOP! and land. This could technically land on a helicopter pad! Or a rooftop!
