I agree this is no way to run a "campaign"... but to appeal directly to her fans? Seems perfect to me. I thought it was cute. For me she oscillates wildly between completely unwatchable and utterly brilliant (sadly most of her "signature" stuff is just completely humorless to me so I miss a lot of the gems). But as far as targeting her base... spot on. I doubt it'll have any actual effect even amongst her fans but everybody else will just plain ignore it so I can't see it having any meaningful negative impact either.
