It's been fun rooting for UT this season. Young team, doing good. Haven't had this much fun since Vince Young. We've got a nice tradition going with my father-in-law-- watch a game, eat some food... I quite like it. And wow... Texas is /seriously/ into that pigskin. >> Austin, specifically. I hear Austin is a pretty swinging place. I didn't mind College Station, when I was there a couple days. The Woman thinks I'm tripping, but I think she's football biased (the teams have this rivalry, see-- sorta like UNM and NMSU... like many states:]). I've had a fine time in TX, every time I've been there, but it's never been an extended stay. I think I've got family in Dallas, even. /scratches head I like most everywhere I've been, but I figure Austin would be right up my alley, from what I've heard over the years. We were talking about taking a trip out there over the game the other day, actually. I should devote some energy to seeing that come to fruition. Seattle would be a fun one too. Guess I should keep it small tho, and work outward, neh? :-) >> Honestly I'm not really invested in any team. Been a while since I have done anything active besides Good Loving, and running around from lab to lab at work. Ultimate is cool, but I'm more of a Frisbee Golf kind of guy-- stroll with a beer, smoke, toss disks... *sigh* now /that/ is a sport. :-) Break-dancing was my sweat producer. Healthy competing, among crew-members and crews, with only occasional real beefs... I barely do it at all now tho, and never with anyone else, or in a circle anymore. > >> And my daughter freaking loves it! Mine will be 2 in late December. Kids playing soccer at the park is a winner with her too. As is construction equipment. Fascinated. Laughs. It's awesome.
