Except this is in the same vein and cast that has been being brought
up since the primary. It could, theoretically, be something new and
ground breaking and important I suppose. But lets do a mental exercise
and go as far as we can.

If every investigation so far is repudiated and there is indeed a
tight bond between Ayers, Obama and Khalidi, lets say they were
friends and they had meetings and a past political/ideological
connection, then does that really change who he is and where he is at
now? Does it change my vote?

The basic answer is no. The extended answer is also no. We've been
over this ground before and we are ridiculing this article because 1,
it is ground that has been tread over repeatedly and 2, Obama is
honestly his own man and I'm going to trust him and judge him on the
basis of his governmental record (though some may scoff), his words
and promises, and his eventual performance.

At this point I consider the accusations in the same vein as the Boy
Who Cried Wolf (or facist/socialist/radical). Maybe Obama really has
pulled the wool over everyone's eyes and will drive this country into
a ditch worse than even Bush. Maybe everything evil that has been said
about him by his opponents is true and those who support him are total
suckers who are inadvertantly bringing America to its feet.

Obama has been being investigated, attacked and raked over the coals
for a year solid now. Maybe he is a true chameleon who is able to hide
everything important and wait for it to come out after the election.
But a majority of Americans seems to think that the vetting is
thorough enough and that he is a better choice than McCain. You may
disagree, but at this point, I feel justified in mocking you for
bringing up the same non-issue again and again.

We'll see how it goes.
