This has happened to me 3 times, twice within a 2 week period.. The second time it happened I had it back in 4 days (they overnighted it both ways). They're always real nice on the phone and helpful.. I know it sucks to have to deal with but they do try to make it as painless as possible.
Anyways soon that new processor is going to start rolling out in the 360s and the RRoD will be less of an occurance. Oh and the 120GB harddrives aren't 200, they're more like 140 (amazon).. yeah I know still ridiculous for that price. The PS3 may, MAY, have better hardware (I've heard of PS3 getting too hot and destroying discs?) but the 360 is winning hands down in the games department in my eyes. With the price drops, the new processor, and great games... the 360 is definitely a better deal IMHO.. Oh and with them partnering up with Netflix.. I'm going to love watching movies on my 37" inch HD LCD instead of my 21" monitor.. The outlook for the 360 is good..
