I am not a fan of Obama nor am I a fan of McCain. I do not like a lot of what each major party stands for. I would consider myself a centrist, I support some liberal ideals and some conservative ideals. So, you see, I can look at the news coverage objectively. Unlike those who are firmly in one camp or another, I am not blinded by my own ideology to be able to see the truth. I do not feel the need to spin every event to make the guy I worship look good and his opponent look bad.
I will give you one example that stands out in my mind, and this is not meant to be the ONLY example, just one that really got under my skin. Earlier in the campaign, John McCain made a trip to Mexico and South America. He was chastised in the press for not caring about what was going on 'at home'. However, when Barack Obama went on his World Tour, that same press did not make the same assertions, rather they treated it like it was his 'coming out' party. So, please tell me how when both candidates do the same thing it was a bad idea for one of them, and a good idea for the other? Do you really think that the WSJ and Fox News are the only biased media out there?
